If planning your ceremony and writing your vows or choosing your readings has you in a panic- take a deep breath and relax, here are a few wedding tips to help wake up your wedding muse. If you cant seem to find inspiration to get that pen to paper, you may be over thinking the process. Inspiration for you wedding ceremony can come from all most any where.
The first rule of thumb is to make sure that your ceremony reflects your personality and the tone of the celebration you have planned. A traditional Psalm may not be your style, and can easily be exchanged for your favorite poem, lyrics from a song or your a passage from your favorite book are an ideal place to find inspiration.
If you and your partner are both kids at heart, express your inner child and use a passage from your favorite children book or poem. Passages from stories like The Velveteen Rabbit and Winnie the Poo are making it to the top of the " wedding vow" charts. Here is an example, (one of my favorites) a passages from Charoltte Zolotow Book- Some Things Go Together
Pairs of things that go together, Pigeons with the park, Stars with the dark, Sand with the sea and you with me.... Hats with heads, Pillows with beds, sky with blue and me with you!
As you can see, Lauren & Douglas had a gorgeous celebration at Chateau St. Jean chronicled by Elisabeth Millay it was an incredible celebration an we loved being a part of. We'd like to thank the entire team for making their celebration memorable.
